Overview
We offer Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) Modules designed for advanced wastewater treatment and reuse. These modules integrate biological treatment with membrane separation, producing high-quality effluent suitable for discharge or reuse. With proven reliability in municipal and industrial applications, MBR technology represents a compact, efficient, and sustainable solution for modern wastewater management.
Key Features
MBR modules provide consistent, high-quality permeate with turbidity typically less than 0.2 NTU. Their hollow-fiber configuration allows high packing density while maintaining ease of air scouring and cleaning. Built for long life and chemical resistance, the membranes withstand repeated cleaning without compromising performance. The modular design enables flexible installation and capacity expansion, making them suitable for both new plants and retrofits.
Applications
MBR technology is used across municipal sewage treatment plants, industrial effluent treatment, and water reuse facilities. Typical applications include domestic wastewater recycling, zero liquid discharge systems, and tertiary polishing for discharge compliance.
Specifications
MBR modules are constructed with hollow-fiber membranes designed for outside-in filtration. Fibers are 0.8 mm outer diameter and 0.45 mm inner diameter, with a pore size of 0.04 microns and a nominal molecular weight cut-off (MWCO) of 100 kDa. Operating conditions allow a pH range of 3–10 during continuous operation and 2–12 during cleaning cycles, with a temperature limit of 40°C. Individual modules are available in capacities ranging from 25 m² to 40 m² membrane surface area, while multiple cassettes can be combined to achieve higher treatment capacities .
