Overview

The DropX CTO Carbon Block Cartridge is a high-performance filter element engineered for the effective removal of chlorine, color, odor, and organic contaminants from water. Manufactured by compressing high-iodine activated carbon into a rigid cylindrical structure, it delivers superior adsorption efficiency, long service life, and low pressure drop. The uniform carbon matrix ensures consistent contact between water and carbon surfaces, making it ideal for both industrial and drinking water applications.

Constructed from compressed activated carbon combined with a thermally bonded polymer matrix, the cartridge offers a high surface area for adsorption and low ash content. Available in micron ratings from 0.5 µm to 10 µm and standard lengths of 10", 20", 30", and 40", each unit ensures high chlorine reduction capacity and long-term mechanical stability. The DropX CTO range uses coconut shell-based activated carbon for high microporosity and sustained adsorption performance. The cartridges are designed to operate at pressures up to 4 bar and temperatures up to 60°C, compatible with all standard DOE and SOE housings.
