Overview
DropX Coagulants and Flocculants are high-performance water treatment aids formulated to improve clarity, reduce turbidity, and enhance solid–liquid separation. Designed for municipal, industrial, and wastewater applications, these products enable efficient removal of suspended solids, colloids, and organic impurities from water. By facilitating faster settling and compaction of sludge, DropX chemicals improve filtration efficiency and reduce overall treatment costs.
Key Features
DropX Coagulants are based on advanced polymer and inorganic chemistries that effectively neutralize charged particles, allowing fine solids to aggregate into larger, easily separable masses. Complementing them, DropX Flocculants form stable bridges between coagulated particles to promote rapid settling and thickening. The formulations are available in both cationic and anionic grades, suitable for a wide range of pH and feed conditions. They are highly effective at low dosage, minimizing sludge generation and enhancing dewatering performance. DropX products are supplied in liquid and powder forms, ensuring flexibility for dosing, handling, and integration into automated systems.
Applications
DropX Coagulants and Flocculants are used across industrial effluent treatment plants (ETPs), sewage treatment plants (STPs), and process water clarification units. They are commonly applied in industries such as textiles, paper, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals for color removal, turbidity reduction, and improved filtration. These agents also enhance the performance of dissolved air flotation (DAF) systems and tertiary treatment units by promoting faster sedimentation and reduced filter loading.
Specifications
DropX Coagulants and Flocculants are available in organic polymer-based and inorganic aluminum or iron-based formulations. They perform effectively across a pH range of 4 to 9 and can be dosed between 10 and 100 ppm depending on feed quality and treatment objectives. Typical solid content ranges from 40% to 50% for liquid coagulants, while polymer flocculants are available as fine powders with high molecular weight. The products are supplied in 25 L carboys, 50 L cans, or 200 L HDPE drums with a shelf life of 12 months under normal storage conditions. All variants are environmentally safe and compatible with standard dosing systems.
