Drop-X industrial centrifuge specializes in liquid-solid centrifuge separation technology, solids dewatering, and centrifuge liquid filtration and fluid clarification systems technology with more performance enhancing design features than any other manufacturer. Our proactive team of experts comprised of experienced engineering and industrial professionals centered on customer-focused industrial solutions. Our product range includes :-
ALGAE SEPARATION
Extract a variety of algae and algae biomass from bioreactors, ponds and waste processing systems using a centrifuge to separate and dewater the algae for various purposes including herbal, energy medicinal extract and biodiesel production.
SLUDGE DEWATERING SYSTEM
The centrifuge is an effective piece of equipment for dewatering solids skimmed off wastewater systems. Drop-X Centrifuge Systems has a wide range of available liquid-solid centrifuge separation.
MUNICIPAL SITES
First application is to take liquid slurry (around 1-3%.) as feed to the decanter and thicken it to around 8% , often prior to going to a biological digester. The second is to feed the decanter with similar slurry and dewater the solids to a dry looking solids mass prior to disposal.
THICKENING OF ACTIVATED SLUDGE
During biological treatment, the colonies of bacteria develop and the growing biological body produces a solid waste as it feeds on the chemicals and nutrients. It is necessary to continuously purge the growing biological mass to control its activity and efficiency.
EVAPORATION
Evaporation is widely used to concentrate water, foods and chemicals, and to salvage solvents. When concentrating, the goal of evaporation is to vaporize most of the water from a solution containing a desired product. In the case of desalination of sea water and waste water, the reverse purpose applies: evaporation removes the desirable drinking water from the undesired product, salt.
Falling film evaporator
Our Falling Film Evaporater contains long tubes (4–8 meters in length) which are surrounded by steam jackets. The solution enters and gains velocity as it flows downward. This gain in velocity is attributed to the vapor being evolved against the heating medium, which flows downward as well. This evaporator is usually applied to highly viscous solutions so it is frequently used in the water , pharmaceuticals ,chemical, food, and fermentation industry.
Multiple-effect evaporators
Unlike our single-stage evaporators, these evaporators can be made of up to seven evaporator stages or effects. The energy consumption for single-effect evaporators is very high and makes up most of the cost for an evaporation system. Adding one evaporator to the original decreases the energy consumption to 50% of the original amount. Adding another effect reduces it to 33% and so on. A heat saving % equation can be used to estimate how much one will save by adding a certain amount of effects.
Flash Evaporation
In our flash evaporators process of evaporation occurs when a saturated liquid stream undergoes a reduction in pressure by passing through a throttling valve or other throttling device. This process is one of the simplest unit operations. If the saturated liquid is a single-component liquid, a part of the liquid immediately "flashes" into vapor.
