DropX Antiscalants are formulated with proprietary threshold inhibitors and dispersants that control precipitation even under high recovery and high TDS conditions. These formulations are compatible with all types of thin-film composite membranes and work effectively across a wide pH range. The chemistry prevents both crystalline and amorphous fouling, while its non-phosphorus, biodegradable variants offer environmentally responsible solutions for modern treatment plants. DropX products are available for brackish, seawater, and wastewater reuse applications, offering high thermal stability and excellent tolerance to oxidants and metal ions. The result is consistent flux, lower differential pressure, and longer intervals between chemical cleaning cycles.

Specifications

DropX Antiscalants are liquid formulations available in multiple grades optimized for different feedwater chemistries. Standard dosing ranges between 1 and 5 ppm depending on feed TDS, recovery, and LSI values. The products are effective within pH 5.0 to 9.0 and are compatible with polyamide and cellulose acetate membranes. They are supplied in 25 L, 50 L, and 200 L HDPE drums with a shelf life of 12 months under normal storage conditions. All DropX variants are non-corrosive, non-toxic, and safe for use in potable water applications when dosed as recommended.
